General Return and Refund Policy
ACCO Brands® is committed to customer satisfaction. If you have purchased a product directly from ACCO Brands through one of our websites, by phone or by mail, and you are not fully satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it within 30 days from the date of shipment for a refund or exchange.
For products purchased from a local store, office product dealers, non-ACCO Brands websites or another third-party retailer, please return the product to where it was originally purchased.
Unless otherwise noted below, this policy extends to returns across ACCO Brands full line of products. Please refer to the sections below for the brand-specific return and refund policies for GBC®, Quartet®, PowerA®, LucidSound® and TruSens®.
Returns
- Returns can be submitted within 30 days from the date of shipment for any reason.
- All custom-made and clearance product sales are final and are not eligible for return.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases where the product was received defective, damaged in shipment or if it is the result of our error.
Refunds
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Return processing time is generally 7-10 business days from receipt of return.
- Depending on your bank’s processing time, credit cards may take up to 10 days after we process the return to reflect on your account.
- Refunds by mail may take up to 4 weeks to be received after the return is processed.
- Returns should be shipped using a carrier that offers tracking. If you choose not to use these services, you are responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.
Exchanges
- Exchanges are only accepted on new and unused products.
- No exchanges will be accepted for custom-made or clearance products.
How to Request a Return, Refund or Exchange
To start the return process, please complete our "Returns Request Form". Include your contact information, order number, item number and a reason for the return. A customer service representative will contact you to assist with the request.
Products purchased from a local store, office product dealers, non-ACCO Brands website or another third-party retailer must be returned to where they were originally purchased.
Defective Products
If you discover what you believe is a product defect, please contact us. If your product does have a defect, your product is covered under the terms of your product's warranty. Please refer to the warranty information and other supporting documentation that came with your product. Repairs or alterations made by persons not authorized by ACCO Brands may void the warranty.
Damaged Products
If you receive a damaged product, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will investigate the claim and notify the freight company of the damage. Please retain all packaging, as it may need to be inspected. These investigations may take several days but merchandise replacements will be processed as soon as possible.
Missing Parts
If you receive a product with missing parts, you must contact us within 5 days of your delivery date.
Brand Specific Policies and Exceptions
GBC
- Defective products can be returned for credit, exchange or repair within 30-90 days of the invoice, dependent on product type.
- Non-defective returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, including shipments refused on delivery.
- The restocking fee must be paid within 30 days of the date on the invoice.
- Customer is responsible for freight on returned items.
- Non-defective installed equipment returns will not be accepted.
Quartet
- Defective products will be accepted by ACCO Brands for credit, exchange or repair within 90 days of the shipment date.
- ACCO Brands may be responsible for return freight on defective items, if applicable.
- Non-defective returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, including shipments refused on delivery.
- Product must be returned in the original selling packaging, quantity and must be in a condition for resale. Customer is responsible for return freight on these items.
- Non-defective installed equipment returns will not be accepted.
PowerA
- Returns will be accepted within 60 days of receipt for an exchange or refund.
LucidSound
- Unopened limited edition products can only be returned for a refund within 30 days.
- All other products must be returned in their original and undamaged packaging, with all materials and accessories included, to be eligible for a full refund, excluding shipping and handling charges.
- Failure to properly package and ship the product with all materials and accessories included will result in a reduction from a full refund to account for any damage.
- There is a lifetime maximum of two headset returns per household.
- All refunds will be provided in USD and will be processed and mailed within four to six weeks of receipt by LucidSound.
TruSens
- Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a refund, excluding shipping and handling charges
- Replacement accessories such as UV bulbs and filters, if opened or damaged, are not entitled to refund or exchange.
- Carefully package the eligible item(s) to be returned, preferably in the original packaging. Please include original invoice or bill.
